The proposal seeks to provide 2No. new self-contained three-bed, 2-storey dwellings together with external amenity spaces, landscaping, parking and access arrangements following the demolition of the existing car park.
The proposal site is located near a principal route through the City along Mill Road and dwellings in this area are generally semi-detached, or terrace houses.
The site lies in a very sustainable location being close to local amenities, services and public transport infrastructure, with major bus routes located on Mill Road. The site is also within easy walking and cycling distance of The Beehive Centre, Cambridge Leisure Park, and Cambridge Train Station.
