Project Information:

East Cambridgeshire district council granted planning permission for 10 self-build plots in a 0.69 hectare on the North side of Little Thetford. In this opportunity, PiP focused only on Plot 3 which possesses a site area of 487 sqm and has direct access to the newly installed access road.

The proposed development is the result of inspiration between the surrounding buildings and the design guidelines specifications received from East Cambridgeshire district council. Hence, Plot 3 set back from its boundaries to respect its neighbour’s amenities.

Besides, it provides a two-storey dwelling for all living spaces and to reduce any future overshadowing situation with Plots neighbours, PiP decided to step down from two storeys to one storey in the North. As a result, it provides a larger footprint for the ground floor and complies with Building Regulations Part M.
