Project Information:
The listed and curtilage listed buildings will be reused and incorporated into the development. To enhance the heritage assets the modern farming buildings and ad-hoc 19th century buildings will be removed to help reveal the significance of the group of listed and curtilage listed buildings. The scheme seeks to recreate a traditional courtyard development of farm buildings. All the existing buildings being retained are to keep their current appearance, apart from the listed barn where it is proposed that its tin roof is replaced with a more traditional pan tile roof. The new buildings also seek to use this traditional pallet of materials of bricks, weather boarding, pan tiles and slate to match the existing buildings on the site. The scheme was approved under delegated powers.
