The proposal seeks to demolish the existing and construct a new dwelling in its footprint with associated landscaping and parking arrangements. The scheme draws upon the existing site context to present a design that enhances the house as well as the street and conservation area setting.

The client brief is to build an energy efficient and sustainable family home, which will respond to site and the historical context of Elsworth. The design will be future proofed, and be a home for many years to come. The client wants to maximise the views onto the Church as well as along the line of trees in their garden.
