9 Oxford Road
The project consists of the retention of the original detached 2 ½ storey dwelling of No.9 Oxford Road following the demolition of a small side conservatory and the erection of a new 2 ½ storey 3Bed. dwelling to form a semi-detached unit.
The materials are to match existing with a natural slate roof, facing bricks to match and stone surrounds to bay windows. Existing parking is on-street.
Careful consideration was given to the character of the area and it was felt that a design similar to existing would sympathise with its surrounds and enhance the architectural merit of surrounding properties.
Although the external appearance is traditional it has not prevented a modern internal layout catering for today's needs.
