For this development of five studios adjacent to a conservation area the local authority wanted to see a high-quality sustainable design that would enhance its setting. The resulting design on this tightly constrained site is for a contemporary sustainable scheme that sits comfortably next to existing housing within a conservation area.

New 5No. new self-contained flats in garden land adjacent to 150 Catharine Street encourages community cohesion and advantageous quality of life. The new development lies between three-storey later Victorian terraced properties within the Conservation Area . We created a viable and vibrant residence that incorporates green spaces, amplifies local character, and contributes positively to the environment of the existing community.
